Current preorder answer
Price and edition scope
On the checked US PlayStation Store page, the Standard Edition is $79.99 USD and the Ultimate Edition is $99.99 USD. The checked US Xbox page displays $79.99+ and $99.99+ for those editions.
Physical format
Rockstar describes the physical version as Standard Edition code-in-box: it contains a digital download code and no disc. A physical Ultimate Edition is not available; a physical Standard owner may purchase the digital Ultimate Edition Upgrade after redeeming the Standard code. Code redemption follows platform-account region rules.
Preload
Digital preorders can begin preloading on November 12, 2026; Rockstar Support specifies local midnight. Physical code-in-box copies are planned from November 12 to support preload, and codes redeemed before launch begin preloading on November 12. This is not early access or an exact November 19 unlock time.
GTA+
A digital Standard or Ultimate purchase made before November 20, 2026 includes one month of GTA+ at no extra cost. It is limited to one redemption per platform account and then auto-renews monthly at the regular price until canceled.
